We collect the following information when you use ReadTally:

• Account information: Your name and email address, collected when you create an account.
• Reading data: Books, reading sessions, and page counts that you enter into the Service.
• Usage data: Anonymous analytics with no personal identifiers.
• Payment information: Billing details processed by Stripe. Nexus Web Labs, LLC never sees or stores your raw payment card data.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the ReadTally Service
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional emails (e.g., billing receipts)
• Aggregate anonymous usage analytics to improve the Service

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

ReadTally relies on the following third-party services to operate. Each service processes data subject to their own privacy policies:

• Clerk — authentication and user identity management. Clerk Privacy Policy
• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy
• Railway — application hosting and database. Railway Privacy Policy
• AWS — encrypted database backups. AWS Privacy Policy
• Resend — transactional email delivery. Resend Privacy Policy

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data associated with your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Stripe may retain billing records for a longer period in accordance with their own legal obligations and privacy policy.

You may access, correct, or delete your data at any time via the Settings page. To submit a privacy request, contact us at info@nexusweblabs.com. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and encrypted backups to protect your data. No method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

ReadTally is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@nexusweblabs.com and we will promptly delete that information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
